Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using Yanmu's mobile application, doctor web portal, or related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and have authority to provide their health information.
The Service
Yanmu helps mothers and pediatric doctors coordinate child health care: shared records, secure messaging, appointment scheduling, and related tools. Features may change as we improve the product.
The Service is not an emergency service. If you or your child have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on Yanmu for urgent or life-threatening situations.
Medical disclaimer
Yanmu does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content in the Service—including messages, records, and any AI-assisted intake summaries—is for coordination and informational purposes only. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with questions about a medical condition.
Doctors using Yanmu remain responsible for their professional judgment and clinical obligations. Mothers remain responsible for decisions made with their care team.
Accounts and security
You sign in with a phone number and one-time passcode. You are responsible for maintaining access to your phone and device, and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to access another user's data without authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including automated scraping or abuse of APIs.
- Reverse engineer or circumvent security measures except where law expressly permits.
Health information responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and share. Share child health information only with care professionals you trust. Doctors should use Yanmu in line with their professional duties, licensing, and applicable healthcare regulations.
You grant Yanmu a limited license to host, process, and display content you submit solely to operate and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
Yanmu and its branding, software, and design are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these terms. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us the rights necessary to provide the Service.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect users and the platform. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yanmu and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will post updates on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date.
